The Blended Learning Cycle

Last fall I took the greatest pedagogical leap of my 18 years of teaching.  I turned my classroom into a video game.  I moved from a teacher-centered learning environment to one focussed on the students.  It was an incredible learning process.  The biggest obstacle I encountered was the ability of students to learn independently.  This fall I designed each level around a blended learning cycle.  I have reinserted myself into the class through the review segment.  The students are working effectively and I am having so much fun.  I have summarized my blended learning cycle in the following video:
